If you have recently turned off power supply of your Ford Social, you will find that the air stations no longer performs effectively. The LCD display will read "Code" and the air stations will not play stations or CDs. This is the result of a safety feature installed as an anti-theft system for the air stations. To be able to reinstate your radio stations to condition, you will be required to enter a value that will fix the air stations after power supply has been turned off or the air stations has been removed.
Instructions
1
Locate the five-digit value given to you on a cards by the supplier. If you do not have the cards with the air stations value, then you will need to find the vehicle's Automobile Identification Variety (VIN)---a 17-digit number that is unique to each vehicle---by looking for the plate that is attached to the driver's side dashboard. Once you have the VIN, call your local Ford supplier for the air stations value.
2
Turn your Civic's key key to the "On" place so that the air stations shows "Code." Press the amount keys corresponding to the air stations value on the radio's pre-specified button panel.
3
Turn the key to the "Off" place and then back to the "On" place to ensure that the air stations performs effectively.
4
Save the air stations value in a rut in case you need to change power supply or detach it again in the future.
