It is bad fortune for a vessel not to have a name and the baptism demands best of fortune for the vessel and those boating on her. There is no set assistance for this wedding, so there is space for creative presentation, but the sparkling wine across the bow is an overall must.

Name the vessel and adhere to it. It is very bad fortune to relabel a vessel.

2
Invite everybody to the wedding who is essential to the boat: close relatives, buddies and co-workers.

3
Pour out some sparkling wine into spectacles or nasty mugs for the visitors so they can toasted bread the vessel.

4
Recite a brief conversation about the vessel and ask for best of fortune from whatever greater energy is appropriate. Make sure you consult the vessel by its name.

5
